Music-Powered Dual-Stick Shooter ‘Beat Hazard 2’ Now Available on iOS and Android
Over half a decade after Cold Beam Games brought Beat Hazard to mobile, the sequel Beat Hazard 2 ($4.99) arrives on both iOS and Android as a premium release. If you’ve never played Beat Hazard, it is a top-down shooter that uses songs on your device to create unique levels. Check out our original review of Beat Hazard from 2012 here. Beat Hazard 2 launched on PC via Steam before arriving on Android through Google Play Early Access. Today, it exits early access on Android and is now also available on iOS. Beat Hazard 2 can also generate a custom player ship based on different music. The music data in Beat Hazard 2 is also used to create boss ships. Beat Hazard 2 on iOS and Android supports touch controls and bluetooth controllers. It supports MP3, WMA, FLAC, OGG, m4a, and WAV file formats for music.
